Amanda Spiers – Principal Consultant
Amanda is our Brisbane based Consulting Team Leader.
She has 30 years experience in education, training and development and is a firm believer in life long learning, embracing new ideas and sharing her learning experiences to support quality outcomes.
Amanda’s recent focus has been in international education and facilitating effective leadership practices, particularly through mentoring and team development.
After gaining her Master of Education from Flinders University in Adelaide, Amanda has worked in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Most of her professional life has been spent working in multiple, diverse, often conflicting and constantly changing cultures.
As a consequence of her experience, Amanda has developed a tool box of related skills which she uses to focus leaders on the need to constantly reinvent self and paradigms. She works closely with leaders, guiding them to:
- recognise the importance of their own values and behaviours
- acknowledge the areas where they excel
- maintain awareness regarding how they impact others
- sustain clarity about their role and their broader contribution to the whole organisation.
