Helen Hartley – Principal Consultant, Associate

Helen is an associate with Keogh Consulting.

Helen is a leadership and transformation consultant based out of Adelaide, and has extensive work experience in strategic organisational development/human resources. Helen has a strong senior generalist HR background, including strategic planning, organisational development, performance management, learning and development, remuneration, change management, employee and industrial relations.

She holds a graduate certificate in managing organisational change, a Bachelor of Business (HRD) and an Associate Diploma of Education. She is a Myers Briggs Type Indicator® practitioner, accredited in Firo B and holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. She holds membership to the International Coaches Federation and is an associate fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Certified Practicing Manager.

Helen has a strong belief in ‘creating frameworks for excellence’. Her consulting skills facilitate pragmatic solutions and interventions. To that extent she has been a confidante, partner and coach to chief executives, managing directors and senior managers enabling them to responsibly drive results required in rigorous business enterprises.

Helen draws on her extensive international business experience in her work. She has management experience within manufacturing, retail, duty free and financial services, involved at a strategic level, responding to international and cross‐cultural management issues. Helen has been part of major organisational initiatives while working for such notable companies as Schwarzkopf, Levi Strauss and Duty Free Stores owned by LVMH Group.

She has worked in the United States, New Zealand, Germany and Asia where she has facilitated programs and worked with facilitators at both the strategic and tactical level.

Helen voluntarily mentors a number of young aspiring leaders. She was invited to join the Royal South Australian Deaf Society (Deaf SA) board in 2003 and served as vice president from 2004‐2007.

Utilising a whole systems perspective, Helen supports her clients in expanding their self awareness and taking courageous action in the direction of positive growth. With a belief that you can only champion growth in others to the extent to which you are prepared to grow yourself, her development journey is always a work in progress!

Helen has a passion for life with a particular love of art, theatre, music, travel and having fun. She has an insatiable appetite for learning. This passion infuses her work.
